This year marks Peace Over Violence’s 40^th anniversary as the longest standing domestic and sexual violence crisis agency in Southern California and as one of the first of its kind in the nation. In the spirit of this momentous occasion, we are calling on our agency’s supporters to help us commemorate this milestone by making a donation of $40 or by purchasing a 40th anniversary t-shirt for $20.

Your donation would come at an especially critical time for our agency. In addition to the 24-hour emergency services we provide to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and the violence prevention programming we offer to youth and adults throughout Los Angeles County and the West San Gabriel Valley, this year we will be opening a violence prevention center for children and youth. The center will directly serve children exposed to and directly impacted by domestic and sexual violence and will augment our current violence prevention programs for youth by offering a model after school program, youth leadership development and art and media literacy trainings for youth-driven violence prevention campaigns and projects.
